2. PROGRAM RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
If you register more than 30 days before the beginning of the course, you are required to make a 20% deposit of the total cost of the program in order to reserve your place. Payment of the remaining amount will be made at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the course.If you register 2-4 weeks before the course, you are required to pay the full program cost.
3. METHODS OF PAYMENT
By bank transfer: you are responsible for any transfer costs. Please send us a copy of the bank receipt of the transfer by fax or email.

4. PARTICIPANT MODIFICATIONS / CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellation/modification must be stated in writing. In which case, there are the following modification/cancellation costs:- Modification more than 30 days before the beginning of the course: 10% the total value
- Modification 15 to 29 days before the beginning of the course: 15% of the total value
- Modification 7 to 14 days before the beginning of the course: 25% of the total value
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the beginning of the course: 20% of the total value
- Cancellation 15 to 29 days before the beginning of the course: 30% of the total value
- Cancellation 7 to 14 day(s) before the beginning of the course: 50% of the total value
5. MODIFICATIONS / CANCELLATONS MADE BY THE COMPANY
COURSES / ACTIVITIES
The company reserves the right to totally or partially modify or cancel any group. In the case of cancellation of the course, the company will refund the total amount paid. There will be no compensation for transportation costs incurred by the participant.
The company will be able to modify the lesson timetable, number of participants per class, lesson hours per week and organization of cultural, tourist, sport or leisure activities according to the number of participants.
In any case, the company will do its best to find the most adequate solution for the problem without detriment to the participant.
ACCOMODATION
This service is optional. Payment of accommodation does not mean that the participant is guaranteed a place. If the company does not find the requested accommodation, the participant can accept an alternative accommodation suggested by the company prior to paying/receiving any difference of the amount (i.e. if the accommodation is cheaper, the difference will be refunded).
The participants will not have the right to have his/her course fees refunded.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Health Insurance: No agent, operator or school will be considered responsible for any type of accident, illness, loss or alteration of the participant’s personal status that may occur at any time, before or during the course. For this reason, we suggest you contract personal travel insurance.Authorization: If the case arises where a participant needs medical treatment or needs to be admitted to hospital and/or have an operation, without having been able to contact the father/mother/tutor in the case of minors, the course director is authorized to take the necessary measures in the participant’s best interest.
Travel / Transport: Our company does not issue plane tickets or tickets of any type of transport. However, we will do our best to inform the participants of the travel agents we work with in order to make it easier for them to find what they are looking for.
Visas: The participant is responsible for processing his/her own permit. The company will send the participant a letter of acceptance into our school if he/she requires it.
If the participant is denied a visa to study in Spain, the entire amount of his/her program will be refunded, minus 50 euros for administration costs. You will have to show us proof of denial of the visa: a letter from the corresponding consulate, a stamp on your passport, etc.
Personal Documents: It is the responsibility of each participant and/or their tutors to make sure they have a valid National Identity Card and/or passport before their departure, as well as any other documentation that may be necessary in Spain (participant visa, social security card, private health insurance, etc.)
Pocket Money: The participants will have to take enough money with them to cover their personal costs and will not be able to ask the company, school, participants or host families for any extra money.
Families: In the programs where host families are involved, the participant will have to accept the timetables and usual living and behavior rules, respecting the customs of the country they are in. Our schools do not discriminate against any family for reasons of race, religion, social or economic level, etc. as the selection is not based on these criteria. So, the participant will not be able to refuse any family stating the aforementioned reasons.
Complaints: Those differences or that, according to the participants or to their parents, are observed in the programs must be submitted in writing immediately in Spain during the course, in order to look for and offer a satisfactory solution as soon as possible.
In case of litigation between the parties due to interpretation, fulfillment and execution of this agreement, our company and the contracting party will be subject to the jurisdiction and tribunals of Barcelona, Spain.
Expulsions: In case of serious disciplinary offense, misbehavior with the staff, participants, host family; antisocial or immoral conduct and/or breaking the laws of the country in which the participant is, our company will have the right to expel the participant from the program at the participant’s expense. If the participant expelled is a minor, he/she will be sent back to their home country accompanied by a company representative. All costs incurred during this trip, as well as any damages caused to third parties and the costs incurred by the school, must be paid by the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s).
Use of the Database: In compliance with the Organic Law 15/1999, of the 13th December, on Personal Information Protection, our company informs you that your personal information included in these general conditions will be kept in a file for commercial and operative promotional or informational purposes of any subject in relation with our company. Acceptance of these general conditions implies your consent for us to carry out the aforesaid treatment of your personal information and for us to use it for those purposes. Likewise, we inform you that you can exercise your access, rectification and cancellation rights in accordance with the legislation in force, at the address that appears in this agreement.
The participant (as well as his/her parents or tutors if he/she is a minor), hereby declares that he/she has been duly informed by our company of the general and specific conditions of the program he/she has contracted, and signs the Registration Sheet.
